Industrias Agapito has taken part in the development of the Great Costa del Sol Park, equipping several children’s play areas, sports spaces and even zones designed for animal training and wellbeing. Covering 270,000 m², it is located in the town of Mijas in Málaga, specifically at the El Ahogadero estate in Las Lagunas. This ambitious project is scheduled to open next May. It will feature extensive walking areas, several trails for tourist transport and a dedicated bike lane. Visitors will even be able to row boats on its artificial lake once the park opens — a unique feature on the Costa del Sol.

The park is divided into several zones designed to offer a complete experience for all visitors, from the youngest to adults, with a wide range of healthy, sporty and accessible leisure options. Visitors will enjoy numerous areas designed for children, several sections focused on sports leisure with outdoor fitness parks, sports courts, a skatepark, zip lines, and even Agility installations.

The Costa del Sol Park is suitable for all ages and needs, featuring various play and entertainment areas by Industrias Agapito. In the northern area, the standout is the Veleta multi-play structure, along with several slides, rope bridges, climbing walls, crawl tunnels and ramps. The Tribox inclusive multi-play structure has also been installed, designed for children with disabilities, along with accessible play areas with swings, spring riders, and seesaws.

In the western area, children can enjoy a 4-metre-high rope pyramid, complemented by slides, swings, carousels and a small playhouse with a terrace designed for younger children.

Meanwhile, the eastern area features a large fortress — a giant multi-play structure that simulates a medieval castle where children can go on endless adventures. This is also where the “Saltamontes” zip line is located, a very attractive element for kids of all ages. The eastern area also includes a replica of the northern zone and a large playhouse alongside the “Galeón” multi-play structure to spark young imaginations. It is completed by a giant Tribox multi-play structure especially for older children and a variety of play features such as swings, spring riders and climbing walls.

The park has also been designed for sports lovers, with several courts including facilities for football, handball, basketball and volleyball. Skate enthusiasts will enjoy a 26 x 16 metre skatepark, with a 160 m² riding surface featuring three banks, a half pipe, a fun box, a grind rail, a grind box and a quarter pipe — ideal for skateboarding, BMX and roller sports.

When it comes to healthy outdoor activities, the Great Costa del Sol Park features two outdoor fitness zones equipped with fixed bars, wall bars, pull-up bars, rings, exercise bikes, and other equipment for strength training and physical wellbeing. These areas are designed for those looking to train and enjoy healthy outdoor leisure.

Additionally, the park caters to residents accompanied by their dogs with a specially designed agility circuit. This includes jump hurdles, tunnels, ramps, slalom poles and other features for dogs to exercise and have fun. A water fountain and a dog waste bin have also been installed to ensure a comfortable and pleasant experience for both pets and owners.
