New Challenges: Vertical Climbing Tower and Inclusive Gymkhana

Proyecto: Children Playground

Fecha: October 2026

Ubicación: Ejea (Spain)

Climbing to the very top, dodging obstacles and finishing with a slide down a chute: few things sum up better what a child looks for on arriving at a playground. With that idea in mind come two new rope circuits that expand the family, the Vertical Climbing Tower (R4943) and the Inclusive Gliding Aerial Gymkhana (R4942), designed to put adventure at the heart of play.

The Vertical Climbing Tower builds the whole route around a central climbing tower, framed by three curved arches. Around it unfold an elevated rope net, a side climbing panel and a curved stainless-steel tunnel slide that serves as the grand finale. It measures 6.04 × 5.47 metres, reaches a height of 3.62 metres and lets 12 users play at once, aged 3 to 14, with a maximum fall height of 1.61 metres. It’s a game played vertically and as a group: you climb, move forward and wait your turn to come down, and along the way you build coordination, balance, agility and strength without anyone feeling like they’re exercising.

The Inclusive Gliding Aerial Gymkhana sets up an obstacle course before the reward. Sloped arches lead to a large curved slide at the top, and to reach it you have to get past a swinging hammock, a triple hanging climbing wall, crescent-shaped climbing walls, a warped net and a wrap-around rubber sack. It also includes an inclusive nest seat and a flower-shaped platform, which let children of different abilities share the same space and the same challenge. In total it takes up to 23 simultaneous users aged 3 to 14, making it the kind that fills up with laughter, turn-taking and improvised teams.

These circuits answer what’s asked of a play space today: that it encourage movement, that it draw children away from screens, and that it work as a meeting point for families and neighbours. Climbing, balancing and overcoming small fears helps build confidence, and doing it alongside other children of different ages and abilities turns the playground into a place where you learn to cooperate almost without noticing.

Industrias Agapito, manufacturer of playgrounds and sports equipment, continues developing this range of rope circuits for town councils, communities and developers looking for attractive, accessible, long-lasting play areas. The Vertical Climbing Tower and the Inclusive Gliding Aerial Gymkhana are now available in the catalogue.
