Inclusive 3D Climbing Dome: a New Circuit for Everyone

Industrias Agapito has added the Inclusive 3D Climbing Dome to its range of climbing structures: a play structure made up of a rope net supported by a steel arch, which lets children climb along several interconnected routes instead of following a single path.
The standout element is the hammock, made of rubber reinforced with fabric, designed so that children with different motor abilities can use the same play equipment as everyone else. Added to this are several intermediate platforms made of flexible membrane, which serve as resting points and crossing points between one route and another, making it easier for every user to find their own pace within the structure.
The structure takes 12 simultaneous users and is recommended for children aged 3 to 14. It has a fall height of just 0.8 metres and does not require impact-absorbing surfacing, which simplifies installation in existing playgrounds. It is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, reinforced braided polyamide ropes and stainless steel hardware and fasteners, and complies with the EN 1176 safety standard for playground equipment.
Climbing, passing another child halfway along or waiting for a turn on a platform are small gestures that help develop balance, coordination and strength, as well as getting children used to sharing play with others whose abilities are different from their own.
Industrias Agapito, manufacturer of playgrounds and sports equipment, thus expands its range of climbing structures with a proposal aimed at municipalities and developers looking for inclusive playgrounds.
