New inclusive playground in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland now features a new playground that focuses on inclusive play, innovative design and the development of motor skills through a carefully selected range of equipment developed by Industrias Agapito. The new space offers a wide variety of play experiences for children of different ages and abilities, promoting physical activity, social interaction and learning.

The standout feature of the park is the spectacular themed playset Spooky Illusions, a large monster-inspired structure that transforms play into an educational and sensory experience. Its seven large characters integrate interactive games that allow children to explore optical illusions, geometry, visual perception, dimensions and languages, while developing fine motor skills and cognitive abilities. The route includes themed climbing walls, an innovative floating-step ladder, fireman poles and different slides, turning exploration into a fun-filled adventure.

The play offer is complemented by the “The eyes” rope course, a climbing structure designed to enhance coordination, balance and strength through routes of varying difficulty levels. Large polyethylene rings with climbing grips, anti-slip platforms and suspended paths allow users to improve their motor skills while enjoying a dynamic and safe experience.

The park also incorporates various inclusive play elements that encourage participation from all children. Among them are the Ladybug and Spooky flufy spring riders, designed to ensure access and use for children with different abilities, including wheelchair users. Both elements feature wide seats, ergonomic support systems and accessible designs that guarantee stability, comfort and safety during play, while encouraging interaction and shared experiences.

Another major highlight is the inclusive multiple swing set, equipped with four flat seats and two adapted seats, allowing children with and without disabilities to share the swinging experience. This type of equipment promotes collective play and naturally encourages inclusion from early childhood.

The installation is completed with a hexagonal climbing structure designed for physical exercise and coordination development, expanding active play opportunities through climbing routes that enhance strength, balance and agility.
