Robot City and Spooky, a new inclusive playground in Badajoz

Proyecto: Children Playground

Fecha: February 2026

Ubicación: Badajoz (Spain)

Badajoz now features a new play area that stands out for its strong thematic concept, commitment to inclusion, and the wide range of experiences it offers to children of different ages. The Robot City and Spooky series, manufactured by Industrias Agapito, bring fun and imagination to a unique playground where design, creativity, and accessibility come together to create a stimulating and complete play environment.

One of the main attractions of the park is the Spooky Double Tunnel, a Monster-themed multi-jeux. This multi-tower structure is made up of three interconnected blocks joined by a bridge and two polyethylene tunnels. It includes five levels of play and features nine friendly, spooky monsters that accompany children on their adventure. Industrias Agapito, manufacturer of children’s playgrounds, has incorporated up to 31 themed play elements into this structure, including educational games for language learning, interactive panels, and components that help develop fine motor skills, turning play into a fun and educational experience.

The park also includes an inclusive swing with a harness seat, designed to enable children of all abilities to swing together. This swing features a flat rubber seat and an accessible harness seat certified according to EN 1176 standards, reinforcing the inclusive character of the play area.

The Robot City zone adds a second large themed area to the playground with an accessible Robot-themed multi-jeux, designed following universal accessibility principles under Order TMA/851/2021. This structure is specifically adapted for use by children with disabilities or reduced mobility and provides a continuous pathway that encourages movement, exploration, and shared play. The central area is covered by a pitched roof, and the entire unit includes 18 play elements that promote social interaction and cooperative play, avoiding isolated use and encouraging group experiences.

The entire playground is enclosed by a metal fence with colored slats, providing a safe and visually identifiable space tailored for family enjoyment.

The Robot City and Spooky playground in Badajoz strengthens Industrias Agapito’s position as a leading manufacturer of inclusive public play areas.
