Another senior park from Agapito Industries arrives in France

A nursing home located in the Bourges region, in France, has a new senior playground by INDUSTRIAS AGAPITO composed of products aimed at elderly people and whose purpose is to offer them a safe alternative to practice daily exercises in order not to lose mobility and promote agility, both physical and mental.

When choosing the products, the age range of the people who will use the playground, their capacity and their mobility have been taken into account. A very diverse sports equipment has been chosen that allows users to work on the different parts of the body in a comfortable and safe way. It is a small open-air park for seniors, which improves mood, increases energy and helps increase vitamin D levels in the body.

To contribute to the physical and mental well-being of our seniors there is the Psychomotor Double Plate Bench. These are two benches with platforms to support the feet that stimulate different cognitive functions: orientation and gnosias (recognition of shapes, sounds, times… ). The Adapted Double Arm Bike can be used by two seniors in wheelchairs at the same time, it is a flexion and extension exercise of the elbows and shoulders. Also for those with reduced mobility, the Adapted Double Helix Screen has been installed that exercises the entire arm together: consecutive pronation and supination turns, flexion and extension of the elbow and elevation and descent of the shoulder.

Finally, an interesting product aimed at people with health problems in the lower extremities is the Obstacle Course, ideal for balance work while walking.
