Madrid Unveils 12 New Inclusive Playgrounds

Madrid city continues its commitment to accessibility and inclusion with the recent installation of 12 new inclusive playgrounds across various districts of the capital. These accessible play areas, equipped by Industrias Agapito, are now located in Moncloa-Aravaca, Usera, Villa de Vallecas, Salamanca, Villaverde, and San Blas-Canillejas, reinforcing the city’s dedication to every child’s right to play—regardless of their abilities.
All installations have been carried out in compliance with the accessibility requirements set out in Order TMA/851/2021, ensuring that the play spaces are fully inclusive and accessible. Each site features adapted equipment, accessible pathways, and integrative play areas that encourage participation, equality, and social inclusion from an early age.
