The Town Hall of Bormujos in Seville has taken another step forward in its commitment to improving public spaces with the inauguration of the renovated Los Álamos Municipal Park, now featuring a brand-new look following an investment of over €460,000. One of the main highlights is the addition of the latest playset unit from Industrias Agapito’s catalog: the impressive Giant Pirate Tower, a themed structure six meters tall that becomes the main attraction of the park’s new children’s area.
Bormujos is now the first town in Spain to install this innovative playset unit—an adventure tower designed to stimulate play, imagination, and the physical development of young children. With four levels of play, two cave slides of different heights, crawl tunnels, interactive games, mazes, and meticulously decorated details with nautical and pirate motifs, this large tower stands out not only for its design but also for its safety, durability, and ability to integrate into large spaces like Los Álamos.
The new playground spans a wide themed area created for family fun, where children can feel like real sailors while exploring every corner of the Pirate. Complementing this tower is the Galleon, a pirate ship-shaped play structure that enhances the park’s nautical experience. With detailed finishes, vibrant colors, and decorative elements that spark imagination, the Galleon lets little ones live out true deckside adventures.
This renovation completely transforms one of Bormujos’ most iconic public spaces, located in the heart of the town. Traditionally a gathering place for families and a regular venue for neighborhood events, the park now presents itself as a modern, accessible, and playful environment that meets the needs of the municipality’s growing young population.
The inauguration event brought together dozens of families who enjoyed face painting, entertainment, workshops, and children’s activities. This project is part of a broader plan to improve green and play areas, which will continue with renovations to the Las Portadas and La Alquería parks, reaffirming the Bormujos Town Hall’s commitment to quality of life and community well-being.
