INDUSTRIAS AGAPITO PARTICIPATES IN THE 4TH SERIES OF CONFERENCES ON DESIGN AND BUSINESS

Great success of the conference on “Product design, strategy and methodology” given by Industrias Agapito and Activa Diseño en la Faculty of Economics and Business, organised by the Aragonese Industrial Design Centre (CADI), as part of the 4th Series of Conferences in Design and Business Empresa. More than 100 students and specialists were able to learn about the project for the “Spooky” range of playground play equipment, thanks to Sergio Agapito (General Manager of Industrias Agapito) and Ana Malandía (Designer and Founding Partner of Activa Diseño design studio).

The speakers gave their views on how to make the most of design when managing products the company launches on the market. The conference presented the success story of the Spooky themed children’s playgrounds from Industrias Agapito, recently presented at the 2019 FSB International trade fair for public space, sports and leisure facilities, in Germany.  It was not only analysed from a strategic point of view, but also from the perspective of directing a marketing/product department, and from a designer’s viewpoint.

The Spooky series of playground equipment for public parks consists of an attractive and functional set of multi-play structures, spring riders, slides, swings and playhouses. Its bold and colourful design stands out, modelled on a funny family of little monsters with bulging eyes, ferocious jaws, and vivid colours. This monster-themed kids range encourages the imagination of the youngest children by allowing them to live out fantastic adventures in a controlled and safe environment, manufactured in accordance with European standard UNE EN 1176.
