The Netherlands Strengthens Its Commitment to Calisthenics

Industrias Agapito continues to expand its international presence with the installation of a new outdoor training area in Scherpenzeel, a municipality in the Netherlands that is strongly committed to physical activity and the promotion of healthy habits in safe and accessible urban environments.

This project reinforces the growing trend of calisthenics in Europe—a discipline that is becoming established as an inclusive, dynamic, and adaptable sports alternative for all types of users.

The new area combines outdoor gym equipment with a high-performance street workout setup, creating a complete space for training strength, endurance, and mobility. Machines for cardiovascular and abdominal work have been installed—ideal for warming up and improving overall physical condition—alongside a dedicated calisthenics zone that supports exercises such as pull-ups, dips, chin-ups, and bodyweight-based routines. In addition, the project includes a functional training unit equipped with kettlebells, designed for dynamic sessions that develop explosive strength, coordination, and postural control.

With this initiative, Scherpenzeel takes a step forward in the creation of modern and accessible sports facilities. At the same time, Industrias Agapito consolidates its role as a benchmark in the design and manufacture of urban outdoor fitness equipment, with installations increasingly present in European cities seeking to promote health, social interaction, and physical activity within their communities.
